If you’re like me then you probably love eating fresh and healthy foods. For those that are curious and require a bit of a nudge in understanding how much goodness these foods have to offer then you just have to take look.

This amazing jewel-bright veg is making a come back in the juice world and for good reason. It might just be one the most nutritionally important vegetables you eat, packed with fibre and antioxidants.

Beetroot is loaded with folic acid, a very important B vitamin. A small serving or beetroot can provide nearly a third of your daily requirement.

Also contains an antioxidant called Betanin, which appears to help protect against the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. It is the oxidation of LDL cholesterol which raises the risk of heart disease and cancers. So beetroot is your friend!

A well-known superfood, packed full of healing greatness.

The purple-red pigment or anthocyanins combat damage to cell membranes

It can help your brain produce dopamine, which is important for memory, coordination and feelings of wellbeing.

Reducing inflammation – inflammation is what ages the body!

This has to be one of my favourite go-to vegetables.

High is potassium which helps to balance blood pressure

Rich in fibre for a healthy digestive system

Loaded with of folic acid to protect the heart

Packed with vitamin C and beta-carotene for a strong immune system.

Try to squeeze these 3 B’s into your meals few times a week and your body will thank you for it.
