HOME MADE HUMMUS BY COURTNEY

I love this for breaky on toast with an avo smash or on the go snack with celery sticks. As a vegetarian staple, this is a great protein source which I would throw together most weeks.

Hummus Recipe. 

Homemade hummus!

2 x tins of chickpeas drained

100ml olive oil

Juice of a whole lemon

1 tsp sea salt

½  tsp cumin

1 crushed clove of garlic

2 tblsp hulled tahini


Place chickpeas in the food processor with oil and blend till almost smooth, slightly chunky consistency. Add remaining ingredients and blend until perfectly smooth and creamy. Add extra salt and lemon to taste at the end.


Serve with chopped veggies!
